In order try out Ubuntu Linux you first need to obtain Ubuntu Linux. There are two ways to do this. Firstly, it can take up to 10 weeks for the CDs to arrive. Secondly the shipment usually consists of multiple copies of the CDs so unless you have a group of people who would also like to try out Ubuntu you are going to end up with a number of CDs that are only good as non-absorbent beer mats.
