In this chapter we have provided an overview of a number of design patterns and discussed the importance of these patterns in terms of structuring iOS applications to run in the iPad. Whilst these patterns may seem unclear to some, the relevance and implementation of such concepts will become clearer as we progress through the examples included in subsequent chapters of this book.
