In the previous chapter we looked at configuring mail servers and mail clients. In the chapter we will look at the steps required to send and receive GMail email messages on a Linux system using the Evolution email client.

Configuring a GMail Account for POP Access

The first step is to configure your GMail account to enable POP access. Start a browser, log into your GMail account and click on the Settings link at the top of the page. On the settings page, click on Forwarding and POP.
