This page accompanies the “Controlling Ad Blocker Removal Request Frequency” chapter of the Ad Blocking Survival Guide book. It makes use of the Modal Plugin component of the Bootstrap JavaScript framework to display a notification dialog to the user in the presence of an ad blocker. A cookie is used to ensure that the dialog is only displayed to the visitor once every three page views.
Load the above page into a browser with an ad blocker enabled and wait for the appearance of the request dialog. Immediately reload the page and note that the dialog does not appear. Reload the page twice more, at which point the dialog will reappear.
