Trial copies of Microsoft Visual Studio Professional Edition are available from the [http://www.microsoft.com/products/info/product.aspx?view=22&pcid=b171ab31-2771-41f6-8243-17654838fd72&crumb=catpage&catid=9d273393-92c9-4807-be9c-515a0d152415 trials] page of the Microsoft web site. From this page, you can choose to download a trial, or order a trial DVD.
The download is approximately 2.7Gb in size so will take quite a while to download. Also, the download is an ISO image of the Visual Studio installation DVD so a DVDN DVD burner will be needed to write the image to a disk befoe before it can be used for installation.
If you do not have a high speed internet connection or a DVD writer, Microsoft will ship you a free DVD (although they will charge you a small fee to cover the shipping costs).
